Friday, April 29, 2011. Gabe is working hard to complete his post. On the second last day of our most wonderful trip to China, we had the breathtaking opportunity to climb the Great Wall. At first we thought we were being sort of lazy, but to my surprise, it was SOOOOO STEEP! We were basically climbing on a 45 degree angle, probably even more! This day was definitely a highlight for all! Second Day in Beijing.

The main gated entrance to Rancho Mirage Country Club is located on Bob Hope Drive. It is staffed with an attendant 24-hours a day and the property is patrolled by vehicles at various times. There is an on-site management office and a maintenance employee. Homeowners pay a monthly HOA fee, which includes property insurance, landscaping maintenance of common areas, street and swimming pool maintenance and staffing for the controlled entrance into the community.
